Haro Park Received Donation of $120,000Haro Park Foundation recently made a major donation to Haro Park for necessary improvements to our building and also critical equipment needs Haro Park needed to enhance resident care. A donation by our Haro Park Foundation of $120,000 was made to purchase and/or make physical plant improvements including: electrical beds, repaint corridors, repaint dining room, upgrade boiler room, new dishes and cutlery, dining room tables and chairs, hot carts, keyless medication doors, ceiling lifts and couch.
| Resident Donates $40,000 for Amber LaneA major upgrade of dining facilities at Amber Lane was made with a $40,000 gift from one of our residents. With this gift, Haro Park was able to improve the Amber Lane dining area and enhance the food services provided to our residents. The donor felt passionate about expressing his appreciation for all the dedicated and hard work staff gave to look after his daughter, and gave him a peace of mind while his daughter lived at Haro Park.
Art at the Park Raised $6000 for ProgramsEvery year our residents donate their art works to Haro Park and an auction is held to sell their art work (paintings, drawings, jewelry etc..) to the community. The proceeds of this sale in 2011 were $6000, which funds our Art at the Park Program.
