Volunteering at Haro Park

Volunteers are a valuable addition to our Campus and we welcome volunteers who would like to assist our elders in the following areas.

External Talent: If you have a skill in areas such as consulting, photography, education, the arts, let us know we may have an opportunity for you to contribute to our community.

Visiting: walking, conversations, gardening, shopping

Excursions: Bus trips to assist staff with elders, Class 4 drivers license an asset

Special Events: holidays, seasonal events, monthly birthday parties, pub days/nights, evening entertainment,

Arts and Crafts: assisting elders with a variety of arts and crafts projects and encouraging participation.

Daily and Weekly Activities: bingo, bowling, board and card games, entertainment, pub, exercise, afternoon tea, meal assistance
