The core of Haro Park Centre life is service to our residents. The following departments deliver on that service promise:
We are directly responsible for preparing and serving 500 plus meals a day, catering to the specific dietary needs of our residents. We follow the Canada Health Guide to ensure the meals we prepare are nutritious and reflect the choice and preferences or our residents.
We are accountable for the highest standard of resident care and quality of life being provided for the residents through the development and maintenance of appropriate care plans, support of care staff, provision of the required equipment and supplies, and nursing services. The care we provide ranges from assisted living to residential care to complex care, including those who require personalized 24-hour nursing care and personal assistance.
We believe an active and vibrant therapeutic recreation department provides a range of programs to meet the social, physical, cognitive, emotional and spiritual needs of our residents. Daily exercise, yoga, arts and crafts, poetry and music a garden and daily excursions comprise activities to engage and support the residents.
Finance and Administration
Our Finance and Administration departments are responsible for managing critical information about our residents. They keep our business organized as they set up new resident accounts and update resident files. They are also involved in accounting, scheduling, payroll and administrative support for the campus.
Our goal is to provide the best laundry service possible for our residents. Our commercial laundry equipment is designed to process hundreds of articles of clothing each day, meeting the highest quality guidelines. We take pride in working with residents and families to resolve laundry challenges that arise. We are committed to finding solutions that work for our residents.
24 hours a day and 7 days a week we work to ensure our buildings and equipment are maintained in a safe, clean, attractive, efficient and fully operational manner. We also ensure all hazardous areas are properly identified. We also inspect, maintain and test fire alarm and emergency systems and implement an effective preventive maintenance program of cleaning, painting, and maintaining facility equipment, etc., as needed.
