What our Employees Say About Working Here

The best way to learn about what it’s like to work for a company is to hear directly from people who work there. Here are a few members of our team who, in their own words, would like to share with you how they make a difference and what it’s like to work at Haro Park Centre.

Anne, Licensed Practical Nurse

Besides the great people I work with, I believe my positive attitude and willingness to do my job to the best of my ability makes working here that much more enjoyable. Personal satisfaction depends a lot on how you approach things in life and I take pride in meeting and exceeding expectations. In addition to my job, I get involved with various committees like the Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee. The day goes by so fast, because I like what I do. I am happy with what I have achieved at the end of each day and I feel like I make a difference.

“I am happy with what I have achieved at the end of each day.”

Jerry, Care Aid

I always try to see things from the resident’s perspective. When we attend to their needs, help them with their personal hygiene care or serve them breakfast, lunch or dinner we need to keep their unique needs in mind.  That’s why I’m committed to improving their experience at Haro Park. One of my goals is to make their time spent here meaningful, safe and secure.   We do a great job at Haro Park Centre.

“I always try to see things from the resident’s perspective.”

Anita, Dietary Aid

When we are preparing their meals, we have to keep the residents in mind. We can’t forget our residents may have unique dietary needs. That’s why I’m committed to enhancing their overall experience through the food we prepare and serve.

“When I prepare a meal for our residents I think of them as my family.”
